Xhorse VVDI2 Complete Setup Guide

Step 1: Download Software

Visit the official Xhorse website for the latest VVDI2 software package including drivers and firmware tools.

Step 2: Install USB Drivers

Install before connecting the VVDI2. Compatible with Windows 7/8/10/11 (64-bit recommended).

Step 3: Connect and Activate

Connect via USB, launch software, register with your Xhorse account. Software authorizations activate automatically.

Step 4: Update Firmware

Check for and install firmware updates. Never disconnect during update.

Step 5: Software Modules

VVDI2 supports 13 modules including VW (4th & 5th Gen), BMW, Porsche, PSA, Toyota, Copy48, and Transponder Programmer.

Your First Job: VW Key via OBD

1. Connect VVDI2 to OBD port
2. Select VW module → Immobilizer → Key Learn
3. Tool reads immobilizer data and key count
4. Follow guided procedure to add new key
5. Insert new key when prompted and confirm

Troubleshooting

• Not recognized: Reinstall drivers, try USB 2.0 port
• Activation issues: Check internet connection
• Firmware update fails: Run as administrator, disable antivirus temporarily
